My favourite hot chocolate recipe that's healthy, hearty and, most importantly, delicious!
Heated almond milk is a great relaxant and sleep inducer, cinnamon is a blood sugar stabiliser which helps decrease cravings, cacao contains the highest amount of anti-inflammatory antioxidants, cayenne pepper is a metabolism booster and Nuzest' protein powders are muscle repairing, filling and taste amazing!
1 cup almond milk (or milk of your choice)
1 teaspoon coconut sugar or sweetener (maple syrup, raw honey, etc)
1 tsp raw cacao powder
1/4 tsp cinnamon
dash vanilla essence
pinch of Himalayan sea salt
Optional: 1 scoop Chocolate Nuzest Clean Lean Protein powder (omit the coconut sugar)
Mix together in a saucepan over medium heat and continue stirring until heated through. Serve with a (tiny) pinch of cayenne pepper. And a marshmallow.
